The cuisine at Tiny Boxwoods wonderfully captures the essence of contemporary American fare, spotlighting fresh, local ingredients that turn every dish into a masterpiece. Start your day with their Berries & Cream for a taste of homemade whipped cream paired with vibrant, seasonal berries, or indulge in the Mother's Breakfast, a robust plate featuring soft scrambled eggs, crispy bacon or housemade sausage, and velvety white cheddar grits complemented by flaky biscuits and sweet strawberry jam. Both dishes encapsulate comfort in every bite, balancing flavors that evoke feelings of home and warmth.

As the day transitions, Tiny Boxwoods offers an equally enchanting lunch menu. The Classic Cobb Salad, laden with crispy bacon, farm-fresh eggs, and rich, creamy blue cheese, invites you to dive into a sea of tastes that dance delightfully on the palate. Meanwhile, their Salmon Provencal pairs perfectly with a light, champagne vinaigrette; it’s no wonder that many visitors find it hard to choose just one favorite! Don’t miss sipping on one of their expertly crafted cocktails while you soak in the surroundings. Favorites like the Espresso Martini and Paloma Fresca are must-tries—each sip transports you to a state of bliss, complementing the delectable food flawlessly.

However, be prepared for the bustling crowd and limited parking, especially on weekends. While this can be a slight inconvenience, the adventure is worth it; the charming garden and shopping area nearby offer a delightful exploration opportunity while waiting for your table.

In sum, Tiny Boxwoods isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the first sip of coffee to the last bite of dessert, every moment here envelops you in a harmonious blend of taste and charm. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a leisurely weekend brunch, this enchanting eatery invites you to make memories that linger long after you leave.

Set in a beautiful garden setting, with interior seating available as well in a cozy ambience. Delightful menu and fantastic service. The sort of place you return to again and again.

This place is truly a gem! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the sweet potato wedges! They’re a must-try. Their cocktails are also great and perfectly made. The vibe is something special. Most of the girls wear cute dresses, giving the place a stylish yet relaxed feel. While you wait, you can walk through a lovely nursery filled with plants, or hang out in a beautiful shop area with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. It’s the perfect spot to have a nice conversation with friends while waiting for your table. And speaking of that, the wait time has always been shorter than expected every time we’ve been there. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot with great food, amazing drinks, and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy with friends or family.

I'll start off with the only real negative thing about this place, and that is parking of course. Their lot is incredibly tiny and fills up instantly on weekends, street parking was full around the restaurant as well so we had to end up parking at a church about a block over because everything else had restricted hours, was reserved or valet. I recommend using satellite view or street view to plan out parking if you're not one to wait for someone to leave. I came here for a birthday brunch with a party of about 12 and we all fit on one long table under the big long canopy gazebo setup they have and it was gorgeous. My cousin had a menu picked out for her bday and they brought out a cheese, bread, fruit, and prosciutto board out first which was delicious and they offered water, juice, coffee and a drink menu (full bar). Then they brought out croissant sandwiches with ham & cheese, an avocado, cheese and ham sandwich with was amazing! They had an egg bowl that I believe had onion, bell peppers and cheese and THAT was yummy and moist and paired well with everything else. There was also side plates of sausage and bacon. For dessert at the end it was a big chocolate chip cookie that was warm straight out of the oven, the only thing it was missing was a big glass of milk lol. The ambiance was superb with wonderful vibrant plants everywhere and they also have a whole section to buy plants which was amazing. All prices are pretty average for the plants. Food prices are ... I'll say on the fancier side so if you're on a budget maybe pass until next time but I definitely recommend coming here if you enjoy eating outside and enjoying the weather. There is also an indoor area which I honestly didn't go into so I can't comment.

this place is beautiful outside and perfect to come for a somewhat calm and relaxing time with your friends to catch up. It’s usually very busy and there’s always a wait. It’s also very hard to find parking. There’s a gorgeous garden/shopping area next to it to explore. The food isn’t anything great, just typical American tasting food that’s in my opinion over hyped. I only like to come here for the outdoor seating because it’s what makes this place what it is

While in Houston, I found Tiny Boxwoods through Google Maps. It was a quaint and charming breakfast and brunch spot. Though there was outdoor seating, we opted to sit inside. Hubby and I both had coffee while Dad had hot chocolate. Dad had the Mother’s breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, white cheddar jalapeno grits, homemade biscuits, jam, whipped butter, and bacon. I had the Fruit & Yogurt Parfait, which included berries, labne, Tiny’s house granola, and honey. Hubby had sides of sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, and a fruit bowl. Everything came out quickly and we enjoyed it all. Highly recommend this for a gathering spot!

A quaint, adorable, sophisticated restaurant with an attached garden nursery and gift shop, because who doesn't love all that in one place... I've been here for brunch and dinner. Two different, cool experiences. I feel their brunch offers more variety. Perfect for patio dining with friends. Take home some pastries! Great coffee. Of course, it's popular, so there's a wait. You can use Resy to make dinner reservations. Their dinner menu is a little more limited but delicious. I treated my mom here for her birthday, and the waiter was darling and attentive. Service here has been consistently great. Very nice place with a lovely vibe.

Beautiful patio and fresh, tasty food! I had such a nice time on the patio that I came back twice in one week. First trying to avocado toast, then second the turkey club. I can’t decide which I liked better! The espresso martini and mimosas were also well made. My server, Peighton was sweet and attentive. Looking forwards to my 3rd experience

Nice cozy place to have a yummy meal. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious. I also tried a espresso martini and it was very refreshing. Be aware that is difficult to find parking.
